A rating on your website is only right until the next inspection.

Regulation 20A requires your CQC rating on your website with a link to your latest report. A hard-coded rating meets that today and quietly stops meeting it the day CQC publishes a new one — at which point the site is not silent, it is wrong.

What the check looks for

CQC may take enforcement action, including a fixed penalty notice, and can act separately where displayed ratings information is false or misleading. Enforced by Care Quality Commission.

This check establishes whether a rating is displayed and whether the inspection report is linked. It does NOT verify that the displayed rating is the current one — that requires CQC API access we do not yet hold. Nothing in this report should be read as saying a rating is out of date.
