Who we are

StatutoryCheck is a trading name of Keelson Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17359226, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Keelson Holdings Ltd is the data controller for the checks you run here, and can be contacted at oliver@statutorycheck.co.uk.

What we collect

The website address you submit, and standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) which our host retains for security and abuse prevention. We set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no account to create.

Why, and on what basis

To run the check you asked for and to stop the tool being abused. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — you asked for a result, and we need to keep the service standing up.

How long

Submitted addresses are not stored beyond the request unless you ask us to keep a report for you. Host logs follow our hosting provider's retention period.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.), acting as our processor. Nobody buys anything from us and we sell nothing to anyone.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email us and we will respond within one month. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Websites we crawl

We fetch publicly available pages, obey robots.txt, and identify ourselves with a contact address in the user agent. If you run a site and would rather we did not, email us and we will exclude it.
